Timeless 50 Promotion terms and conditions
By entering the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
Overall Promotion
1. Entries must be made on the Timeless 50 website www.timeless50.com from 19 November 2009 to midnight on 15 December 2009.
2. Open to all United Kingdom residents aged 18 years or over. To enter the Volkswagen Polo Prize Draw the entrants must hold a valid UK driving licence.
3. Promotion not open to employees and their families of Volkswagen Group United Kingdom Limited, their agents or contractors, Volkswagen Group brand retailers and anyone else connected with the promotion.
4. The prizes that can be won are detailed on the Timeless 50 website. Each of the final Timeless 50 prizes will be shown on the website together with a description and the prize draw date.
How to enter
5. You may enter the promotion by completing the registration details on the Timeless 50 website. If you participated in phase 1 of the promotion, the Promoter will send you an email which will require you to opt-in to phase 2 of the promotion and verify your details. Only one account per person.
6. Once you have verified your registered account you may place your credits for entry into the draw on the available prizes as you see fit, provided that a minimum of one credit is placed per prize draw you wish to enter. The more credits you place on a prize will mean that you will have more entries in to that draw (see paragraph 11 below).
7. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entrants where they consider multiple accounts to have been registered by the same entrant. Any entrants in breach of this clause will be disqualified from the promotion without notice.
Credits Awarded
8. The entrant will be allocated 20 credits when they create a valid registered account. Further credits may be awarded as follows:
(i) 10 credits will be awarded per day if the entrant logs in to their account on Timeless 50 website
(ii) 10 credits per valid friend referral.
9. The entrant may receive a maximum award of 200 credits for up to 20 friends only. In order to qualify for the additional credits the entrants’ friend must register a valid account. No credits will be awarded for entrants’ friends who have a pre-existing registered account.
10. The Promoter will monitor each entrant’s daily credits against the maximum daily credits available. If the Promoter suspects any entrants’ accounts to be in excess of the maximum daily credits available they will be disqualified from the promotion without notice.
The Timeless 50 Draw
11. There will be two prize draws per day for the final Timeless 50 items. Each credit placed on a particular prize entitles the entrant to 1 entry in to the draw for that prize (e.g. if you place 10 credits on a prize you will receive 10 entries in that draw). The winner and runner up will be drawn at random under independent supervision and the Promoter will endeavour to do so by 10.00am the next working day after the entries close for each prize draw.
12. The prize draw days are classed from 00.01am to midnight. All credits must be placed on each prize draw by the closing date detailed on the website and by no later than midnight on that day. Any credits allocated after the prize draw closing date and time will not be entered. Time is based on the Promoter’s server time.
The Timeless 50 Prizes and Mystery Prizes
13. The pictures representing the prizes are shown for illustrative purposes only and may not be the actual prize won. The description of the prize details the actual prize available.
14. By entering a draw for prizes on stated dates, times or periods you agree that you are available to attend during that period. No alternative prize is available if you are unable to attend. If you are unable to attend you will forfeit the prize and it will be offered to the runner-up. No cash alternative is available. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to offer mystery prizes in addition to the prizes stipulated on the website. Where a mystery prize is offered this will be stipulated in the description of the relevant prize. No cash alternative is available. The mystery prize is also non-transferable and non-refundable.
The Volkswagen Polo Prize Draw
16. Each entrant will automatically receive one entry into the Volkswagen Polo Prize Draw, which will take place on 15 December 2009. No further credits can be placed on the Volkswagen Polo prize draw.
17. The winner of the prize will receive a Volkswagen Polo for the value of up to £13,000.00 together with a full tank of fuel, road fund licence for 12 months and delivery. The winner will also have the choice of selected trims and may order the vehicle from UK stock or factory built stock, subject to availability. The winner must hold a full valid UK driving licence. The insurance cost is excluded.
General
18. The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
19. The prize winners’ names and counties will be posted to the Timeless 50 website and the Promoter will endeavour to do this by 10.00am on the next working day following each prize draw.
20. The prize winners’ names and counties will be posted on their “Winner’s Gallery” website within four weeks following the closing date of the promotion.
21. No responsibility is accepted for entries that are illegible or lost, delayed or damaged online. Entries not submitted in accordance with these rules, delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered or illegible will be disqualified.
22. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify entrants from the prize draw if the entrant does not comply with these terms and conditions or if fraudulent activity is suspected.
23. If an entrant is disqualified their account will be suspended. Any prize won will be forfeited and points allocated to future prize draws will be removed. The disqualified entrant will not be entitled to participate in the Volkswagen Polo prize draw.
24. A winner and a runner-up will be drawn for each prize. The winners will be notified that they have won a prize by email from the Promoter or its agent Tribal DDB London this notification will be sent on the next working day after a draw. The winners’ details will then be passed to NDL to administer the prize and the winners will be contacted within 7 to 10 working days.
25. If a winner does not claim the prize after 28 days following email notification, the Promoter will be entitled to offer the prize to the runner-up drawn for that prize. The runner-up will be notified by email that they have won a prize and will also have 28 days to respond. If the prize remains unclaimed after 28 days the Promoter will then be entitled to dispose of the prize as it sees fit without any liability to the winner or the runner-up for having done so.
26. The Promoter reserves its right to substitute any prize with a prize of equivalent value in the event of circumstances outside of its control.
27. The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose the promotion without prior notice if circumstances make this unavoidable.
28. The Promoter reserves the right to feature the name, photograph and location of the prize winners in any future marketing materials, promotions and/or prize draws.
29. No purchase necessary.
